Sunny left Punjab alone as a young man, his parents and siblings back home counting on him, and gave twenty years to the building trade in Brescia, Italy. In 2007 he brought his family to New York and founded SJNY Construction, which he has run day to day ever since, now more than forty years into the craft.
Off the job he cheers for Italy and the United States on the soccer pitch and volunteers at his local Sikh temple, preparing food and clothing for donation.
Danny first began visiting his father's job sites in 2014 and grew into the trade from there, earning a dual degree in architectural and construction engineering rather than choosing between the field and the classroom. He manages projects from first estimate through final sign-off.
Away from work you will find him playing or watching sports and keeping his family and friends laughing.
