Sunny left Punjab as a young man to support his parents and siblings back home. He spent the next twenty years in the building trade in Brescia, Italy. In 2007, he brought his family to New York and founded SJNY Construction, which he has run day to day ever since, now nearly forty years into the craft.
Off the job, he watches soccer, rooting for Italy and the United States, and volunteers at his local Sikh temple, preparing food and clothing for donation.
Danny started visiting his father's job sites in 2014 and grew into the trade from there. He earned a dual degree in architectural and construction engineering at Farmingdale State College while still working on those sites. He manages projects from first estimate through final sign-off.
Away from work, you will find him playing or watching sports and keeping his family and friends laughing.
